Italian translator

I’m Donatella Brigatti, a native Italian translator and language specialist with 17 years’ experience in technical, IT, PR and marketing translations – as well as many other industries.

Trained in English and German at Milan’s Professional Institute for Translation Studies, I also acquired skills as a translator at a major Milan-based translation agency. My role involved providing German-to-Italian and English-to-Italian translations of technical, legal and business documents.

Currently, I offer freelance translation, transcreation, proofreading and localisation services to businesses and translation agencies in Italy and around the world.

Here’s what you should know about me:

I translate only into my native language – Italian.

Since 2004, I’ve helped dozens of companies in Germany, Switzerland and the rest of Europe communicate in Italian in a wide selection of fields. These fields include technical, IT, PR, marketing, beauty and cosmetics, tourism, food and drinks and more.

I prioritise Continuous Professional Development. Since 2008, I’ve attended several courses and webinars related to my fields.

My career as a translator started as far back as 2002 when I worked on various translation projects and at the FACI Servizi S.r.l. Translation Agency in Milan.

When you work with me, you can enjoy a close one-on-one partnership and a translation tailored to your language, brand values and style.

In addition to German and English to Italian translations, I also offer Swiss Italian translations if needed.
